5 out of 5 stars

Plastic-free where it counts. Bloom-brewed so it finally tastes right.

Most coffee makers run hot water through plastic every morning, and skip the step that actually unlocks flavor. We removed the plastic from the brew path and built in a real bloom. Here are the 5 reasons coffee lovers are making the switch.

Turns out there's no tradeoff. Better materials make better coffee.

5 reasons coffee lovers are switching

BLOOM FUNCTION

Automatic pour-over, with a real bloom phase.

This isn't a drip machine that happens to be plastic-free. It brews like a barista. The automatic bloom pre-infuses your grounds before the full cycle, exactly the way specialty shops do it by hand, so the coffee degasses and extracts evenly.

One button gets you the same pour-over profile a café charges $6 for.

"Super easy to use, easy to clean, and the bloom function is life-changing." — Jessica R.

PLASTIC-FREE BREW PATH

No plastic touches your water or coffee.

There is not a single plastic component anywhere your water or coffee touches. The entire brew path is stainless steel, borosilicate glass, and surgical-grade silicone.

Most automatic brewers run hot water through plastic tubes, reservoirs, and valves. You can't see it, but it's there. Ours is one of the first to eliminate it entirely.

As The Washington Post put it: "...eliminates all plastic contact with the coffee."

TEMPERATURE

195–205°F, locked in. Every single brew.

Most home brewers run cool and drift lower through the pour, below the SCA-recommended range. That's where you get weak, sour, or flat results no matter how good your beans are.

NO PUMP. EASIER TO CLEAN. MOLD IS MITIGATED.

Gravity-fed. Easy to take apart. Designed for better cleaning.

Many conventional coffee makers use pumps, internal tubes, and fixed brew assemblies that can trap moisture after every brew. In some designs, the filter basket, shower arm, and shower head are connected or difficult to access, making them hard to clean properly - and impossible to place fully in the dishwasher.

Over time, standing moisture in dark, hard-to-reach places can create the kind of environment where mold and bacteria become a concern.

Unlike pump-driven brewers, Simply Good Coffee uses a thermo-driven water path. As water is heated, it rises to the shower head, then gravity distributes it evenly over the coffee bed. Ours uses gravity, not a pump. Water flows straight through a brew path designed with fewer hidden moisture points. The parts that touch your coffee disassemble for easy access and cleaning, so you can see them, clean them, and keep your morning routine feeling fresh.

Pull it apart. Clean it properly. Brew with confidence.

DAILY WELLNESS

What you drink every morning, 365 times a year, adds up.

More people are paying attention to what they put in their body every day. Your morning coffee is one of the most repeated inputs you have, which makes the brewer it runs through worth a second look.

  • Hormonal balance: Endocrine disruptors are chemicals known for their ability to interfere with the body’s hormone system, and studies have raised concerns about certain plastic-related chemicals, including BPA, phthalates, and some chemicals found in recycled black plastic. Many conventional coffee makers still use plastic where hot water travels. Reducing plastic contact in your daily brew path removes one more exposure concern from your morning routine.

  • Fertility-conscious: For anyone reducing everyday chemical exposure, cutting plastic contact out of something you drink every single morning is one of the most consistent, practical steps you can take.

  • Gut and daily energy: What you consume daily sits at the center of how you feel. No brewer can promise to fix gut health, low energy, or poor focus — but a cleaner brew path is one less concern working against your morning before 8am.

651+ FIVE-STAR REVIEWS AND COUNTING

Coffee shop owners. Home baristas. Health-conscious families. They all land on the same conclusion.

People who switched stopped wondering why their coffee never tasted as good at home as it did at the shop. Now they know, and they're not going back.

THE REAL MATH

Less than what most people spend on café coffee in a season.

A daily shop habit runs well past this in a few short months, and you're left with the same plastic and the same inconsistent cup. This is a one-time upgrade to better materials and better coffee, built to last decades, not seasons.
